Owned by Nobilia, Kutchenhaus has been providing high quality kitchens at affordable prices for over 16 years. Their website previously performed well but with a shift in buyer behaviour, increased demands and stakes raised high by multiple competitors - the site no longer met KPIs. Kutchenhaus required an eCommerce agency that had experience with their platform Hybris v6.6 and who could work seamlessly with their front-end development team to simplify user journeys.
The site required attention from both an aesthetic and user journey perspective with particular attention needed around promoting services and enabling customers to engage. Working collaboratively with Kutchenhaus, 9xb developed a range of tactics to improve the website that would ultimately meet their main objective to increase sales. Tactics included mapping user behaviour to understand their wants and needs.
The new website design provides a simplified user experience, through streamlined navigation, CTA’s, improved merchandising and content areas so that users can now easily gather inspiration, design, plan and purchase their new kitchen. The design features plenty of inspirational content, full width images, more visible swatches, as well as larger product cards to deliver a premium experience.
Having identified an opportunity to improve organic search rankings, 9xb delivered a full SEO audit. The audit included keyword analysis, competitor benchmarking, trend analysis, metadata review, longtail opportunities and content optimisation. Following the implementation of our recommendations, Kutchenhaus saw a significant increase in organic traffic which as a result increased lead generated through the site.
