Project Manager

Overview

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexi-time. Core hours 9:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Location: Remote (UK)/Leeds/Harrogate.
Although a predominantly remote role, we do encourage you to work from our Leeds or Harrogate offices where doing so would benefit you, your team or your work.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our busy Delivery Team at 9xb. As a natural leader, it will be your responsibility to maintain the day-to-day performance and trading of your clients’ webstores and applications. In order to achieve this, you will be able to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with the Delivery Team, including; managing resources, ensuring work is delivered to agreed timescales, budget & scope and maximising team production levels.

You’ll oversee the production of documentation associated with running, support and maintenance of any new or updated features and procedures ensuring it remains accurate and up-to-date.  And manage BAU and support requests effectively, ensuring SLAs are met and satisfactory throughput for the client is achieved inline with their deployment cycle.

It will be your priority to ensure high client satisfaction by building relationships through regular meetings and effective communication. You will be expected to have a detailed understanding of the client's businesses, products, challenges and objectives.

You’ll demonstrate success to internal and external stakeholders through pre-agreed KPIs and undertake high level UAT to ensure the quality of agreed deliverables prior to handover to the client.

A key part of your role will be to produce high quality, accurate project plans and ensure delivery against it. This will involve maintaining accurate up-to-date accounts of both planned & actual spend and identify issues or impediments early, providing solutions to mitigate or minimise the risk / impact - escalating to key stakeholders where required.

For each project, you'll produce launch/deployment plans and coordinate post project reviews, including; documenting feedback and recommending improvements to the Head of Delivery.

Responsibilities

  • To develop and nurture robust relationships with all clients through high quality customer service, professional timely and effective communication 
  • Operate in a commercially aware manner; ensuring profitability whilst maximising the throughput of 9xb Delivery Team resource
  • Deliver capital and BAU work for clients to agreed timescales, budget and scope ensuring SLAs are met and satisfactory throughput for the client is achieved inline with their deployment cycle
  • To adhere to and champion delivery processes within the studio, regularly reflecting to encourage continuous improvement through regular CPD

Job Requirements

  • Be a confident communicator to effectively build and maintain relationships with our clients
  • You’ll be extremely organised and able to manage and prioritise your workload, ensuring projects are running as planned 
  • Consistently lead by example in terms of competence, reliability, attitude and professionalism
  • Adhere to workplace policies and procedures to maintain efficiency & professionalism
  • Ensure development tasks meet the 9xb ‘definition of ready’ ahead of the commencement of the sprint, utilising stakeholders as required
