Overview

9xb proactively targets businesses to introduce our range of products and services. This is predominantly through email campaigns and online advertising. Maintaining our prospects database is a key factor in our ongoing success.

This primary objective of this role is to identify new businesses that we can target along with maintaining existing business records held in our CRM system.

Full time or part-time (minimum 22.5 hours per week) opportunities are available. For ambitious people, there will also be the opportunity to progress and become more involved with other sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • To identify prospects that match 9xb’s qualification criteria
  • Uncover new opportunities by carrying out daily reviews of industry news
  • Outreach to target businesses via phone, LinkedIn or email to identify names of key ‘decision makers’ within target businesses
  • Input and manage prospect data in the CRM
  • Regular database cleansing and enrichment of records
  • Research contacts we have lost touch with for new address/general details
  • Monitor prospect businesses for role changes and update data accordingly
  • Maintain and identify other useful third-party data sources
  • Follow data practices to be fully GDPR compliant
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team
  • Provide general support to the Marketing Communications Manager on email and other campaigns

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a confident communicator - you will not be required to make sales calls, but you need to reach out to businesses by phone and email to establish the names of decision makers
  • Commercially minded - you are able to identify opportunities that will support our sales and marketing objectives
  • Organised - you are able to effectively manage your own workload and prioritise key tasks
  • Be willing to learn and develop with real world, on the job experience
  • No formal experience is necessary although any experience in a similar role or knowledge of Salesforce CRM would be advantageous
