Project: Event Promotion and Management Micro-site for Global Brand

You're organizing a global event. You need to sell it to potential delegates to make sure they attend. You have a global audience with visitors flying in from around the world. You have a packed schedule. You need to know who's coming so you can organize accommodation, transport, meals, seminars and entertainment.

You could go down the route of printing flyers, posting to dozens of countries, waiting, waiting some more, sending reminder flyers, waiting again, occasionally receiving a response in illegible handwriting and then setting your alarm for 3am so you can hit the phones whilst people at the other side of the world are still at their desks. But this isn't 1980; things have come a long way so you don't need to do this, as our client Hi-Tec Sports knows all too well.

Micro-sites work wonderfully for specific projects that fall outside of your main website. This could be a joint venture with another brand, a sales promotion, a new product launch, or in this case an event. Rather than putting this content on your main company website and risking your visitor being distracted by other messages; a micro-site guarantees you have the browsers full attention.

We answer the delegates questions, help them organise their travel itinerary, choose the seminars they wish to attend and register online. So Hi-Tec doesn't even need to retype the delegates booking as it all goes directly into a database.

So not only do they have record numbers of attendees, they also save loads of cash by not needing to organise print, postage, follow up calls and loads of man hours - result!
