Sunni joins the 9xb marketing team after 3 years' experience in online marketing and pay-per-click advertising at a multilingual York-based web agency. In her previous role she gained her experience running PPC campaigns on several different search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, Yandex, Baidu and Naver and understands how to get the best ROI through paid search.
Interestingly, Sunni hasn't always been keen on "all things digital" - in fact, her school friends would probably say she was quite old fashioned, for example refusing to use online banking until the age of 20, even though it cost more to make payments with paper bills! She was ultimately converted when she started doing link building in her early days of online marketing and is now fully on board with the digital revolution, tweeting, liking and sharing like the rest of us.
As you've probably gathered from the name, Sunni comes from a land (not so) far away, namely Norway. After completing a BA in English there she found her way to York like a true Viking to do an MA in Modern Literature, and somewhere along the lines the old (Norwegian) girl meets (English) boy story led her to stay. Happily settled in York with a husband and two cats, she spends her spare time sewing, knitting, watching films and reading, and enjoys a good cup of Earl Grey tea.
