The National Riding Festival aims to encourage new and lapsed horse riders to take up the reins and embrace the sport. Since it’s launch nine years ago the initiative has helped 27,000 people get on a horse with over 15,000 going on to have lessons with 61% continuing to ride on a regular basis.

9xb were commissioned to redesign the website for the 2007 festival. The site needed to reflect the spirit of horse riding, provide details of events and local riding schools and overcome any concerns and barriers potential riders may have. The result is a fun and informative site that has proved very successful.

"The new web site is only one month old and in that time we have had 1000 unique visits and over 5000 page hits. The stakeholders in the NRF are a tough lot but they have been very complimentary about the site. It’s clear, clean, easy, concise and such fun – exactly the right feel we wanted.
