With revenues of more than $39billion and over 185,000 employees, PepsiCo is a truly global brand. The world leader in convenience snacks, foods and beverages PepsiCo boasts a product portfolio in the UK that includes Pepsi Cola, Walkers Crisps, Tropicana and Quaker Oats.

Understanding the importance of employee welfare, PepsiCo have invested in a Nutritional Training Programme to help educate staff on the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. With a wide range of users spread across the UK, the internet is the perfect platform to deliver this programme.

Following a recommendation from an existing client, 9xb were introduced to Pepsi and subsequently commissioned to create an interactive online training resource. Packed with innovative features such as video, animation, interactive lifestyle assessments and online tests this project makes the most of web technologies to get its message across. Although just launched, it's already proving to be a real hit.

Jonathan Wright"This project had to educate and train PepsiCo's staff in an innovative and comprehensive way. We achieved this by integrating several different types of media such as video, interactive flash games and diagrams to highlight various parts of the training programme. Additionally users could exit and re-enter the programme at any point, saving their progress along the way and allowing them to complete it at their leisure. The entire programme was separated into three stages with a quiz at the end of each stage to evaluate what the user had learnt. We also provided the ability for PepsiCo to view all the data gathered by the training module for later analysis and correlation."
