Software Engineer
John is a developer at 9xb and has a strong background in the field with 7 years' experience. He has a keen interest in MVC frameworks and his attitude to web development is "build houses, not bricks!"
Before developing websites, John gained a degree in electronic engineering and spent 3 years as a Fusion Splicer Design Engineer (very technical). He's also had a few other interesting roles including teaching and DJ-ing, as well as finding time to squeeze in 4 years living in Korea and 2 years in China. It was while he was living in Korea that he decided to build his own internet radio station and events portal.
Aside from work, John is a music enthusiast and plays guitar, bass, keyboards and percussion. He also writes and produces electronic music, plays chess and likes to indulge in some poetry writing too.
