Project: Re-inventing the wheel...creating an online brand
Established over twelve years ago, the logo used by Forever Memories - the leading supplier of wedding accessories and gifts - has served them well. Since launching their first online store with 9xb in 2003, the business has expanded and diversified and now focuses on accessories and gifts for a wide range of events and not just weddings. As such their identity and branding has become dated and is no longer representative of their business proposition.
9xb were commissioned to carry out a brand review and develop the company's identity for 2009 and beyond. With an intrinsic understanding of the market place, customer profile and future business strategy, 9xb were the perfect people for the job. In developing the brand we knew that although online would be a key channel for the client, their offer extends far beyond. They need an identity for their entire business and not just their website. Your brand is important; consumers trust brands, they are buying into your brand and not just purchasing a product or service for which there may already be many existing providers. The brand must therefore represent the core business values and be an integral part of their communications strategy to both new and existing customers as well as other key stakeholders.
The result; a modern, vibrant logo that looks great, leads their online brand strategy and acts as a great showcase of their business proposition.
Phil Silk, Managing Director of Forever Memories commented, "We are delighted with the research 9xb have undertaken to really grasp and understand the Forever Memories brand. Having established the business and developed a loyal customer base we wanted to create something that really stood out and brought to life our full product offer, whilst not losing sight of the fun nature of the business, excellent work!"
Important Note: Although we love to showcase our work, client confidentiality is of the up most importance. We regret that we cannot include detailed figures or statistics of the campaigns. But hopefully the quality and diversity of the work speaks for itself.
