Project: Organic Search Campaign for Celebrity Booking Agent

In the competitive market place of corporate and after dinner entertainment, our client faced the classic problem of playing catch up with their competitors in a very crowded search market.

First we worked with the client to understand their market and their business objectives. We then undertook a programme of research and based on our findings we proposed a two-pronged approach.

As a longer term strategy, we identified a set of high-volume competitive keywords where high rankings would bring in serious levels of traffic and enquiries. Although ultimately this approach has the potential to generate enormous levels of business, there's no getting away from the fact that this would take time. During this time our clients will of course receive regular updates from us on both activity and results, so they can see their campaign is on track to deliver.

Our second initiative was designed to create more immediate and targeted results, by identifying niches in the market. Although these search terms attracted lower volumes or traffic, we were able to build a long and extensive keyword list which the client was perfectly placed to take advantage of.

Our in depth knowledge of Google and advanced SEO techniques enabled us to make some minor technical tweaks to the website which, combined with a clever link-building program meant we were able to achieve number 1 rankings for terms based on individual celebrity names. This resulted in a 78% increase in traffic to the site over 3 short months - bringing in highly pertinent visitors and enquiries.
