The starting point for this project was to create a logo that would form the basis of all GNE communication material including the new website design. Our design team came up with a number of concepts, providing a basis for discussions. The favoured concepts were then worked up and revised to create a logo that everyone was happy with.

With a corporate identity sorted, 9xb were then commissioned to build a new stock management and ordering facility providing a number of key blue chip organisations access to up to the minute stock availability data and to manage their procurement online.

9xb created an easy to use, stock management system. 'G-Net', enabling GNE to set up clients on the system, monitor all usage and fulfil orders. In addition to this, the system offers a wealth of reporting for both GNE and their clients.

As part of the project 9xb developed a 'Flash' envelope design utility allowing customers to select dimensions and then add text and imagery to build their envelope in real time. Once the design is complete, the system automatically checks the layout to ensure it complies with Royal Mail specification, provides a PDF preview and the order can be placed online.
