DATACENTER

The physical facilities used to store servers and other technical infrastructure for large scale networks and other data services.

In search engine optimisation terms, Google's datacenter's are of the most interest. Each of the datacenters holds a slightly different variation of the main Google algorithm, as changes to it percolate through their system.

In practical terms, this means UK users of Google can receive different results depending on the datacenter through with they receive their results.

    Account Under Review - You Could Have Said!
    "Ive been having the same issue. Its been a week now and im still not coming up in the search. I sent in an email to support and all I get is an automated email telling me that the account is under review. I need help because my entire business is based on my google ads and with out it im kind of out of business. you said you had a google rep that you spoke to. would it be possible for you to give me the google rep's extention so I can check up on my status and see what is going on.     "..what a great site!! And it is pleasing (and frustrating) to see that we are all at the mercy of googlebot calling on our sites when we want a full reindex.. I put a site together www.used-car-supermarket.com and Google indexed it very quickly before I could get all the relevant cars etc on the site.. now I have done that.. and updated the sitemap.xml file telling google which are "priority" URL's to visit.. and still nothing.. I have a load of pages which were indexed on the 2nd July 09 and most dates from then onwards upto and incuding today.. but it seems to visit the pages that dont need re-indexing.. and ignores the ones I need looking at as they have been optimised and would improve their rankings for sure under relevance.. Guess I will just have to be patient.. (and keep taking the pills.. hehehe) If anyone knows a great way to invite googlebot to the party.. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! hahaha"

    "The site I just revamped www.eCamo.co.uk, is lower now in Google .Only put the 301 redirect to the new URL after one week of change. A lot of the new pages are already listed. Just hope I don’t lose any old links for being a bit slow!"
