Google - Not Always Perfect!
Google has an incredible staff. Amongst its 10,000 employees there are few who aren’t qualified at PHD level. And with revenues rising at an incredible rate (£872 million in the UK alone last year) it has almost limitless money and resources to throw at any technical problem it encounters.
While the rest of us mere mortals can’t ever hope to attain those dizzy heights (unless you are sitting on The Next Big Thing In The Internet - in which case… give us a call!) it is reassuring to see that Google isn’t always perfect.
Google’s recent report on our site’s status reveals that it currently indexes 59 pages. Interestingly, you can actually view up to 71 through Google’s site search! Even we know that 71 doesn’t go into 59 - and GCSE maths is as far as most of us have ever been.
As they’re the guys with the billions of dollars, we’re happy to cut them some slack - and it’s hardly a major oversight.
Today’s Moral
Nobody is perfect - not even Google. What matters is though is getting it right where it counts. For Google that means the integrity of its ranking results - for you, that means getting the right visitors and turning them into customers.
