WEB DESIGN YORKSHIRE - LOCAL MAPS FAIL

We rank quite highly for web design Yorkshire. After all, we're a web company in Yorkshire. You'd think then that us, and many more like us, would warrant a listing on Google's nifty map feature. But it seems we don't!

Google shows a local business map but only lists one company:

web design yorkshire

I don't know why Google have only chosen to show this one business listing - after all, the result for 'web design Leeds' has loads. I can assure you though, Yorkshire has more than one web agency!

Notes and Queries...

I've noticed this a lot recently - stupid map results like this that basically hand over a big slice of the search market to one company on the basis of what is (presumably) a bug.

Fortunately, long term we're repositioning as a 'digital agency' in Leeds/Yorkshire because our portfolio offering is much wider so who cares ;-)

I think they must have been reading! That spurious result is history as of yesterday....
