ASK.COM - BOXING CLEVER WITH ADWORDS
Paul Carpenter 12th October 2007
You've probably heard your website marketing company blabbering on about how you should consider using Google AdWords (their pay-per-click advertising system) to help sell your business. If you were in any doubt that it is a viable strategy for your business - consider this!
We've been doing a little research for one of our clients (who sells sulphur soap) when we discovered this in Google's sponsored links...
Yep! That's right - Ask.com are advertising their own search results pages through Google AdWords.
We applaud them! We reckon (whisper it) that Ask.com offer results that often equal Google's in terms of quality - and their interface offers great ideas that even the mighty G could learn from. Actively marketing themselves through Google shows imagination and verve, and we hope it helps Ask to get a little more of the market that their product deserves.
Today's Moral?
If advertising on Google is good enough for another search engine - then it's good enough for you. If you haven't considered it, then speak to us about how it might be able to help you gain sales and customers.
