2011 was a great year for us, with multi-client wins and the appointment of new staff, so it was always in the pipeline that we’d have to look at office expansion in order to accommodate all the new faces we have! As of 16th January, 9xb will now be occupying an additional office block right next door to our existing offices, allowing us much more flexibility in terms of space and business expansion.
With 35 staff currently, we’ll have space for 70+ people in total with the addition of next door, so we have high hopes for 2012 and taking our digital agency forwards.

So who’s going where?

Our Studio team of developers, designers and project managers will continue to occupy the top floor of the existing office, but the Marketing team will move from downstairs to the adjacent top floor of the block next door, meaning the ground floor will house our Business Development department and the reception area. Even our MD is moving to the top floor of the new building! Importantly, it also means the tea rounds will be smaller for the Marketing / Business Development guys as the two teams won’t be sat together anymore.

The Marketing team has seen the most development over the course of 2011, so space was becoming an issue. With improved job profiling and a reengineered SEO proposition, Gyles was recently appointed as Marketing Director to raise the visibility of 9xb as an SEO agency over the next 12 months. With a growing team of SEO / PPC Consultants, Creative Link Builders and Copywriters, its great we have a separate Marketing suite where we can spread out a bit.
